Gee willikers! It's Brian!

Brian is our Clark Kent. A mild-mannered journalist by night, he becomes an even milder-mannered champion of justice during the day.

Fittingly, Brian is keen on Superman and was our Smallville pointman until he decided Smallville was dumb. He still loves all things superhero related and hopes for the day that his latent superpower will manifest itself. Of course, with his luck, it’ll be a superlame one.

Brian is about the nicest guy you’d ever care to meet, and he can find good in even the blackest pit of evil. If he hates something, it must really be bad.

Television

For a long time, Brian watched so much TV he had a tape for each day of the week. Tivo was made for people like him. While he’s cut back on his TV watching as more and more reality TV pollutes the airwaves, he’s still a fan of anything that involves women who can kick ass (Alias, Buffy, etc.). He has also followed way too many of the defunct WB’s shows.

Movies

Brian is a big fan of action flicks and a sucker for romantic comedies, even the horrible ones. The list of bad movies he has seen or actually owns is long and shameful. Particularly shameful.

Games

Brian is mostly an FPS kind of guy, although he plays a fair amount of action or platformer games, too. RPGs allow him to catch up on much-needed sleep. He’s a Halo addict and has learned many of his driving skills from the Burnout series. He’s learned stealthiness and the value of not buying annual sequels from Splinter Cell.

What he’s been watching on TV

Given we’re in the summer slumps, not much. Burn Notice and Leverage regularly. And he’s hoping Covert Affairs can be a long overdue replacement for Alias.

What he’s been playing

Split/Second (stupid freaking Detonator runs), Blur, Darksiders

Last movie he saw

The A-Team … stop judging.
